FAQs - Choir

  • When did you start the Choir?

Myself and Christian setup the Sign Along With Us Choir in May 2019.

We set it up at our local community centre and offered it to people so they could come and learn how myself and Christian use sign supported English (SSE) to music.

After a few months we had an amazing group who came every week and it became the Sign Along With Us family.

I wanted to share them with the world and try to encourage more people to learn sign, so we entered BGT! x

  • How many of you are there in the Choir?

In our Choir we have 70 members ranging from 5 to 58 years old.

We are from all different backgrounds, abilities, race, religion, gender, age and sexuality but we are all one big family.

  • Does every member of the Choir have Disabilities?

Not all members of the Sign Along With Us Choir have disabilities.

We are a group open to anyone no matter what ability.

We have lots of wonderful people without disabilities and lots of wonderful people with disabilities.

Everyone is unique and different and that's what makes our group so special.

  • Can I join the Sign Along With Us Choir?

At the moment we can't take anyone else into our group whilst we are in the BGT competition.

However, you can join us virtually on all our Social Media pages which can be found by clicking the links at the top of the website.

You can also show your support for our group by purchasing merchandise available in the Sign Along With Us online shop

  • When can I see you perform next?

You can see some of our videos on our Sign Along With Us Youtube Channel.

The next time we will perform together will be once it is safe too and after we are out of lockdown and the social distancing restrictions are removed.

We will not meet until it is 100% safe to do so.

We will be in the Britian's Got Talent semi finals when it eventually takes place.
